Specializing in individual, couples and family psychotherapy, and maintains a private counseling practice.
- Over 25 years experience as a clinician, a B.A. in psychology, a M.A. in psychology, and Ph.D. graduate in counseling psychology. Currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients.
- Areas of expertise are: relationships, trauma, marriage and family concerns, infidelity, alternative lifestyles, GLBT issues, depression, anxiety, PTSD, legal issues, and many other concerns and problems of adult life.
- Presented at the Cape Cod Institute as an expert on online counseling, at at the Annual APMHA conference for licensed hypnosis treatment, and serve as a board advisor for American Distance Counseling Association. My online counseling work began in 1997, and I have been in practice since 1981.
My approach is practical, interactive, and solution-focused, to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. I incorporate a blend of conventional and alternatives approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. With sensitivity and compassion, and I work with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.
